Honoring a Firefighter

City of Bradford Firefighters said goodbye to their fellow firefighter Scott Plowman this morning. Scott lost his battle with cancer on January 22. He had been a Bradford City Firefighter and Local 655 member since March 2008. Firefighters from across the region participated in procession to honor Plowman.

Thanks to both Kane & Salamanca VOLUNTEER Fire Departments for their 100 foot Aerial Ladder Trucks!
Nice Memorial Procession to send "Plow" off for his LAST Fire Call.

Not sure why Dave elected to stress volunteer here, but Salamanca is not a volunteer fire department. This funeral just proves that the fire service is a family. It doesn't matter if they get paid or not.

Thanks to all who put in the extra effort to make Plow's final call one to remember. People from Buffalo, NY all the way to Washington, DC made this possible.

Godspeed Plow
