Eldred Man Charged with Vehicular Homicide

UPDATE: Raymo has been arraigned on the charges and is free on $20,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for February 20 in front of District Judge Bill Todd.

Homicide by vehicle charges have been filed against an Eldred man who was driving an SUV that crashed head-on into another vehicle, killing an 8-year-old Shinglehouse boy.

21-year-old Tieler Raymo is also charged with aggravated assault by vehicle and recklessly endangering another person.

The crash happened on the afternoon of February 8, 2013, on East Valley Road in Smethport. Police say Raymo was speeding on the wrong side of the road that was covered with slush.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
