Hallorans, LaRoche to be Honored
Harry Halloran purchased the Bradford refinery, American Refining Group (ARG) in 1997. The Halloran story is about entrepreneurship, leadership, social responsibility and impact, corporate good and philanthropy. The ARG refinery is 133 years old and provides a stable influence to its employees, customers and community locally and world-wide. “Through Halloran Philanthropies and ARG, Harry and Kay Halloran have given generously to BRMC and we are most grateful for their generous support,” said Timothy J. Finan, President and CEO of BRMC and Bradford Hospital Foundation. “In so many ways Harry and Kay Halloran have seen to the social needs the Bradford community and have improved its quality of life.”
Dr. Roger Laroche has been a leader and an effective change agent in the field of Psychiatry at BRMC for more than 20 years. “He stands shoulder to shoulder with the staff. His fellowship status from Mayo Clinic in this field has done much to advance psychiatry in our community.”
Bradford Hospital Foundation board member, Mr. Harvey Golubock, will again serve as Emcee for the evening. “We are delighted to be celebrating our fourth annual Spring Swing event. This important undertaking, while recognizing the extraordinary contributions of the honorees, has provided much needed funding for critical updates and resources to BRMC,” remarked Golubock.

Javed Akhtar, M.D. The inaugural 2011 Spring Swing Gala recipients were Reverend Leo J. Gallina and Widad E. Bazzoui, M.D.
