PSP Looking for Burglary, Theft Victims



State police are looking for more victims of a burglary and theft ring operating in and around McKean County.

The men accused of operating the ring are Trevor Elder, Adam Bachman, Cameron Causer, Mark Schneider, Nathan Hoy, Garrett Hoy and Austin Tankersley. Police are asking anyone who bought items from any of these to contact them because there’s a possibility the items were stolen.

Among the items stolen were chainsaws, ATVs and dirt bikes, and they were taken from the Borough of Smethport as well as Keating, Liberty, Norwich and Annin townships.

Arrests have been made in some of the crimes are more arrests are pending.

Anyone who has had business transactions with one or more of the suspects is asked to contact Trooper Mary Gausman at 814-778-5555.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Cops: Man Had Sex with 13-Year-Old

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
