An Austin woman is hospitalized in critical condition following a collision with a school bus Monday afternoon on First Fork Road in Potter County.
Police say 57-year-old Cheryl Furman was traveling north when her car hit the southbound school bus, which then pushed the car about 80 feet.
Furman was taken by Life Flight to Geisinger Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The bus driver, 33-year-old Francis Ayers of Coudersport, and his two teenage passengers suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles had disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
