Police: Man Seriously Injured Toddler

A two-year-old Bradford boy has a concussion and other serious injuries, and the man accused of causing those injuries is in jail.

45-year-old Olivar Gonzalez-Iriarte hit the child in the abdomen and head, and also choked him, according to papers provided to WESB by District Judge Dominic Cercone’s office. He blamed the little boy’s four-year-old sister for the injuries.

The child is being treated at an out-of-town hospital.

Gonzalez-Iriarte is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. He is in McKean County Jail without bail.
