Split Verdict in Bradford Man's Trial
A jury has found a 40-year-old Bradford man guilty of some charges related to his having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl, and not guilty of others.
Gerald Pope would lie down on the couch or floor, expose his genitals and tell the girl to perform a sex act on him, according to court papers obtained by WESB.
He was found guilty of unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors. The jury found him not guilty of aggravated indecent assault, attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault.
Pope is scheduled for sentencing on July 3 in McKean County Court.
