Town Clerk Pleads Not Guilty to Theft
The former Town of Carrollton Clerk has pleaded not guilty to charges that she stole more than $3,400.
56-year-old Sandra McAndrew of Limestone had been indicted on charges of grand larceny and official misconduct, following a 2012 audit by the New York State Comptroller’s Office that showed she had an apparent shortage of $3,405.
Prosecutors say the incident happened between January 1, 2006, and December 31, 2011.
The case has been adjourned for motions.
