Copper Stolen from B&P Railroad

Police are investigating a theft from a section of railroad tracks in Elk County over the weekend.

They say sometime Sunday morning $127 worth of copper bonds were taken from the tracks that go from Long Level Road to Clarion Street in Jones Township.

The tracks are owned by the Buffalo Pittsburgh Railroad in Bradford.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact Ridgway-based state police.
