Man Charged for Firing Gun at Ground

A man who shot one 12-guage round from the second story window of a house onto the ground below is facing a number of charges.

State police say 30-year-old Alan Will of Dunkirk fired the round Tuesday on Route 5 while people were in the yard and children were in the house.

Will is charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a residence.

Will is jailed on $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court on September 8.
