Motorcycles Collide in Sheffield

Two motorcyclists were hurt in a crash late last Wednesday night on Main Street in Sheffield.

State police say that at 11:15 p.m. 55-year-old David Frost of Marienville suddenly slowed his motorcycle down, and then a bike driven by 50-year-old Gregory Bloom of Marienville hit the first bike.

The collision caused both drivers to lose control of their motorcycles and crash. Both men were taken by ambulance to Warren General Hospital, where they were treated for head injuries. Bloom was cited for following too closely.
