Big Concerts Returning to The Ralph

It’s been more than 13 years since a concert has been held at Ralph Wilson Stadium, but they’re bringing back the tradition in a big way.

One Direction will headline a show on September 3.

The last concert at The Ralph was Dave Matthews on June 20, 2001. *N Sync also appeared that year. More than 30 concerts have been held at The Ralph – previously Rich Stadium – since 1974, including Elton John, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones and The Who.

“We couldn’t be happier that the first show at Ralph Wilson Stadium in over a decade is superstar group, One Direction,” Live Nation President of Connecticut & Upstate NY Jim Koplik said in a news release. “We expect the show to be a huge success and open the door for future concerts at the Ralph.”

Tickets will go on sale November 1, but Bills premium seat holders will have pre-sale opportunities.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
