Charged With Corruption of Minors

Former McKean County Sheriff Brad Mason is accused of have a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl was a tenant at a rental home he owns in Bradford Township.

A state police news release says the “consensual sexual relationship” went on from December 6 of 2012 to May 12 of last year. He retired as sheriff in July.

Mason, who is 52 years old, is also accused of providing alcohol to the girl.

State police say the accusations came to light during investigation of an unrelated civil matter.

An arraignment date has not been set as of this morning. The charges against Mason are misdemeanors.

She was 16 when it began. This poor excuse for a man, regularly arrested men for committing the same, exact crimes he, himself was committing. Child molesters are the most heinous and shameful of all criminals. I feel bad for the victims; the young girl, his wife & children. I pray this pos goes to prison and is put in general population. He was hired and entrusted to serve and protect children not use and molest children. Creep.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child.
