Man Hurt in South Kendall Crash

A Bradford man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash Saturday night on South Kendall Avenue.

Bradford City Police say they saw a Jeep being driven erratically in and out of the travel lane at a high rate of speed, and without taillights. The officer turned around to look for the vehicle and learned it had gone off the road on a curve, hit a guardrail and rolled down an embankment, where it hit several trees.

Emergency personnel had to use the Jaws of Life to free 52-year-old Lloyd Swain II rom the Jeep. He was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC in Buffalo for treatment.

The road was closed down for about two hours. Police are continuing their investigation.

As usual, the story is inaccurate. Police didn't spot the driver at all. A concerned citizen was following the vehicle and called 911. That's when police responded. Let's not forget that some of us have scanners too. Tell the whole story please.
