Hiker Discovers Remains of Two Cats

Two cats left in plastic animal carriers last year in the area of Windy City near Forestry Road 195 in Elk County, were recently found by a hiker.

State police say the cats were dropped there between March and September of last year and were undisturbed through the winter. Both cats had long orange fur. One had a blue nylon collar.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Ridgway-based state police.

Cops: Man Had Sex with 13-Year-Old

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child. Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
