Gee, I wish Pennsylvania would toughen their laws and become a little more aggressive on child sex offenders the way New York has. (Did you know that McKean County boasts 2.4 times the state average rate of founded child abuse cases?) Interesting huh? In other words, pound-for-pound, per-capita, McKean County has more pedofiles and child abusers living within its borders than does the larger urban areas such as Pittsburgh and Philly. (Again, this is only a ratio not "raw numbers"). Sad, isn't it? People with a penchant for destroying the lives of little ones ought to be prosecuted and taken off the streets at any cost. The damage they do is truly nightmarish and oftentimes irreversible; the after effects of which continue on well into adulthood.
