PA Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever vandalized the gravesite of a former governor. Police are still trying to find out who damaged the gravesite of former Governor Raymond Shafer, and the church across the street from the cemetery in Crawford County. On the weekend of November 3 someone spray painted grave markers in St. John’s Cemetery, and defaced the marble marker. The vandals also attempted to unearth the grave by digging to the vault. A message on the back of the church was written in French that, when translated, reads, “Cursed for all eternity, Shafer.” Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact PA Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. Pennsylvania Crimestoppers is looking for help in finding a Jefferson County man wanted on drug charges. 27-year-old Wade Petrillo, whose last known address was in Reynoldsville, was allegedly involved in illegal distribution of Oxycodone back in April of last year. Police say he conspired with other people to distribute and sell controlled substances. Petrillo is known to frequent Brockway, DuBois, Falls Creek and Clarion. Anyone with information on Petrillo’s whereabouts is asked to call Pennsylvania Crimestoppers toll free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward. Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for information relating to the disappearance of Michelle Benjamin of St. Marys. The 36 year-old Benjamin disappeared in June of 2007 and hasn’t been seen since. Investigators believe there are suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
