Vulgarity-laced incidents Tuesday at Advance Auto on Elm Street and another incident early this morning at McDonald’s landed a DuBois man in McKean County Jail. According to court records 53-year-old Patrick McGarvey became irate and kicked at glass windows at Advance Auto Tuesday morning when employees couldn’t provide him with an allen wrench so he could open the battery box on his scooter. He called one employee a "lazy, fat c***s****r," and "began going after the employees." Police took him to the station, charged him with disorderly conduct and released him. But, he went back to the store at just after 2 in the afternoon and, after being told he wasn’t allowed in the store, yelled and cursed at employees before leaving. He came back a few moments later and yelled, "F*** you, mother f******! I am calling the CEO of this f*****g place ..." At this point, employees walked toward the front door and McGarvey "took off. Two people are in jail for robbing the Wellsville McDonald’s and several other businesses. State police say 32-year-old Ryan Schrader and 32-year-old Rebecca Baker, both of Wellsville, went into the back door of the restaurant in the early morning hours of August 11, displayed what appeared to be a handgun, and made off with about $357 in cash. During their investigation state police learned that the pair also burglarized the Just One More bar in Shongo and stole cash from Short’s Gas Station in Stannards, and village police learned they had broken into a Main Street establishment multiple times. Schrader and Baker are each charged with robbery, burglary and grand larceny. A woman told police she was having flashbacks from serving in the military during the Gulf War and that’s why she assaulted a man inside the Bradford McDonald’s last night. Police were called to the restaurant at about 11:30 p.m. because 44-year-old Diane Ayala had assaulted a patron of the restaurant. According to papers filed in District Judge Dominic Cercone's office, she went into the restaurant, approached three men, yelled racial slurs at them and then shoved and hit one of them. Two of the men are Chinese Nationals. The other is from the United Kingdom and of Greek descent. Ayala was in the parking lot when police arrived. They say she was highly intoxicated when telling them about her service in Operation Desert Storm. Ayala is jailed on $2,500 bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on December 5.
