Inmate May be 'Heading West'

The Chautauqua County inmate who escaped from a work detail earlier on Tuesday was spotted in Crawford County this morning, and may have stolen another vehicle. Police say they believe 24-year-old Lucas Hull stole a vehicle in Bloomfield Township and may be heading west. Several people say they spotted him Wednesday in Harborcreek in or around his mother's house. Hull is accused of taking a county vehicle – that had the keys in it – and driving away from the landfill in Ellery, where he was on a supervised work detail. Hull was in jail for theft and has a history of stealing vehicles. Police agencies in Pennsylvania and New York are looking for him.
