Juveniles Accused of Starting House Fire

Two juveniles are accused of starting a fire that damaged a Summer Street home Saturday morning.

Bradford City firefighters were called at 11:45 a.m. to an unoccupied 2-story house at 64 Summer. In a fax sent to WESB and The HERO, state police fire marshal Greg Agosti says the fire originated outside of the house at the rear of the building.

“Two known juveniles from Bradford, PA, were found to be responsible for intentionally ignited the fire,” Agosti said. “Quick action taken by a concerned neighbor kept damage to a minimum.”

There were no injuries. The Bradford City Fire Department and Bradford City Police, along with Agosti, conducted the investigation, which is continuing. At this time, they don’t know who owns the building.
