Prank Clears Allegany Wal-Mart
Someone made a prank phone call earlier this week saying a man was holding a child hostage in a restroom in the Allegany Wal-Mart
The caller also told the store employee who answered the phone that the man was demanding money.
Allegany and Olean police, and sheriff’s deputies and state troopers went to Wal-Mart, and cleared the store and the restrooms. When they didn’t find the subject, they determined this was a prank call. The incident remains under investigation.
