Burglary at Wilcox Senior Center

Someone broke into the Jones Township Senior Center in Wilcox sometime between Wednesday and this morning an stole a number of items.

Police say the burglars forced their way into the Jones Township Municipal Authority building, which houses the senior center, and stole a Wii gaming system and Wii Sports game with an estimated value of $200.

Damage to the doors and windows is estimated at $670.

Anyone with information on this incident as asked to contact Ridgway-based state police.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
