BLT Seeks Directors, Shows

Bradford Little Theatre is seeking directors for its 16th season of community theater in the Bradford area.

“The range of performance opportunities is wide open,” said Nanci K. Garris, BLT president. Along with at least one-full scale production, the board looks to mount reader’s theater and one-act shows.

“One-acts particularly lend themselves to first-time directors, returning directors or those who do not want to mount a major production,” she said. Also, she noted, the board provides support and resources for technical, box office and public relations aspects of each show.

For further information or brief written guidelines, interested people may contact Garris directly by mail at 53 School St., Bradford PA 16701; by e-mail at nkgarris@verizon.net; or by phone at (814) 362-6190.

The deadline for submissions is July 15.

Plays can be mounted at any time of the year, and in a variety of venues locally. Rehearsals are held at the BLT office, 79 Main St.

BLT is a non-profit organization which aims to promote productions by and for local residents. General information is available on the website or Facebook page.
