Teen Seriously Hurt in One-Car Crash
A Stockton, New York, teenager was seriously injured in a one-car crash at about 2:15 this morning on Barnes Road in the Town of Stockton.
Sheriff’s deputies say 17-year-old Brenden Winder was traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle went off the road and hit a tree.
Emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get Winder out of the vehicle. He was taken by Starflight helicopter to UPMC Hamot.
Winder will be charged with driving while intoxicated, driving at an unreasonable speed, driving after 9 p.m. on a junior license and a couple of traffic violations.
