Ulysses Man Awaiting Sentencing for
Attempted Rape Reported Missing

A Ulysses man who was found guilty of attempted rape in June has been reported missing.

53-year-old Roger Cole did not show up for work on Tuesday, and has not been seen since he left work at about 3 o’clock Monday afternoon.

His truck was found near his home.

A jury found Cole guilty of attempted rape, intimidation of a witness, endangering the welfare of children, all felonies, and a number of misdemeanors, including indecent assault. The incidents happened in February of 2009.
