Shots Fired in Downtown Bradford

Bradford City Police are investigating an incident where gunshots were fired early this morning in the area of Bushnell Street and Chautauqua Place.

They received the first reports of shots fired at about 4:45 a.m., and received several tips as to where they could find the person, or people, who fired the shots. During their search of 2 Bushnell Street they were not letting anyone in or out of the building.

They have found the bullet casings and have closed off the area while they search for more evidence.

We’ll have more information as it becomes available.

I just don't understand, Bradford City Government reduces our police, closes the station and criticizes other police departments for helping here in town. Is there some reason for compromising our safety and quality of life in Bradford?

Its been an ongoing disappointing fact that Buffalo crack dealers are here to stay, after 10 yrs of watching this problem on the rise we now face the facts that they dont forget their guns. They ruin lifes here where repressions already against us and sadly now we get to worry about our houses getting shot up. If you see or suspect a person as such please report them, our fine police force need your help to keep this problem under control. Fact, crack dealers dont care if they ruin your lifes. Do your part and together we can make a difference. They need to KNOW their no longer wanted here

This is nothing. No one killed or shot. I agree very unsafe but in reality I think the situation has been blown out of proportion.

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child. Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
