Three Men in Court on Burglary Charges

Three men were in Cattaraugus County Court this week on burglary charges.

37-year-old Jose Morales pleaded guilty in connection to a break-in on January 5 in the Town of Dayton. He will be sentenced on March 11.

Back in July he was sentenced to six months in Chautauqua County Jail for breaking into buildings in the towns of Hanover and Sheridan.

An Olean man has been sentenced to two to six years in prison for breaking into three buildings. 28-year-old Brandon Laborde broke into an Olean building on March 16, an Ishua building on March 22 and a Coldspring building on April 5.

19-year-old Matthew Grimes of Franklinville will spend a year in jail for breaking into a building in the Town of Machias on January 27.

Cops: Man Had Sex with 13-Year-Old

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child. Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
