Woman Hurt in Hanover Crash

A Silver Creek woman was flown by Starflight to ECMC after being extricated from her vehicle that crashed in the Town of Hanover Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff’s deputies believe the injuries 48-year-old Maryjane Tundo suffered are non-life-threatening. A passenger in her vehicle was treated at Lakeshore Hospital for minor injuries.

Deputies say at just after 3 p.m. Tundo was on Allegany Road when her vehicle swerved, traveled to the opposite lane of traffic, went onto the shoulder, then went back across the road, hit a guard rail, flipped and rolled onto its roof.

Charges are pending.
