Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

Police have arrested the man they believe robbed a Johnsonburg bank at gunpoint last week.

36-year-old Corey Feronti of Ridgway is charged with three felony counts of robbery and a misdemeanor count of theft.

Feronti is accused of going into the CNB Bank on Market Street on the afternoon of January 8, pointing a gun at an employee and demanding cash.

After working several leads in their investigation, police searched Feronti’s home, which led to his arrest. Feronti is in Elk County Jail on $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in front of District Judge Tony King.
