Shots Fired at Allegay Co. Garage

Two men are facing charges after gunshots were fired at a garage early Sunday morning.

20-year-old Franklin Smith of Portville is accused of firing three rounds at a garage on Salt Rising Road at 4 a.m. One round hit the garage, which is near a house in the Town of Genesee. He’s in Allegany County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail.

24-year-old Zakary Cobb of Genesee, New York, is charged with conspiracy. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

A Derrick City man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. 19-year-old Richie Cromley is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation on a computer of a sex act with a child. Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
