Fugitive Picked Up in North Harmony

A man wanted in Warren was picked up as a fugitive from justice Thursday in Chautauqua County.

25-year-old Jeremiah Kays, whose current address is in Erie, was stopped at 2:30 p.m. on Route 394 in North Harmony for riding a motorcycle without a helmet. Sheriff’s deputies soon learned he was wanted in Warren.

Besides the fugitive charge, Kays is charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, and for not having his motorcycle registered or insured, and for unlicensed operation.

Kays is in Chautauqua County Jail.
