Two Tornadoes Touched Down in Warren County

Two tornadoes touched down in Warren County Tuesday night.

The National Weather Service in State College says the strongest twister was an EF-1 that carved a path about 100 yards wide and four miles long between Priest Hollow and Scandia roads.

Earlier, an EF-0 tornado went from about 200 yards near the border of Brokenstraw and Sugar Grove Townships. The storm then continued along Route 62, where it damaged the Farm Colony Complex baseball fields. Trees were also knocked down near the Allegheny National Forest headquarters and on the 11th hole on the Conewango Valley Country Club’s golf course.
