Accused Counterfeiter Waives Hearing

The Bradford woman accused of making counterfeit $20 bills has waived her preliminary hearing.

38-year-old Elizabeth Skok and 30-year-old Shad Gutshall were arrested on forgery and related charges after police found the counterfeiting operation in their South Center Street home while looking for evidence related to the double homicide and suicide in Limestone last week.

They are also facing drug charges.

Gutshall’s hearing has been continued to next Thursday.

Skok is jailed on $30,000 bail. Gutshall’s bail is $50,000. He is also facing charges in Cattaraugus County related to a domestic incident.
