Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Homicide

A Derrick City man has pleaded guilty to attempted homicide after holding a couple against their will in their home this past September.

62-year-old Gary Patrick, armed with two handguns, entered the home of Christine and David Taylor and threatened to kill them.

After a confrontation and struggle, David Taylor was able to disarm Patrick twice.

Patrick remains in McKean County Jail on $500,000 bail and is scheduled for sentencing on May 22.
