National Day of Prayer:
Prayer in the Square

In observance of the National Day of Prayer, Prayer in the Square will be held on Thursday, May 1, noon in Veterans Square, Bradford.

The public is warmly invited to join clergy, public officials, and representatives of the fire and police departments in praying for the city, leaders and the nation. The event is estimated to last 45 minutes to accommodate lunch hour guests. In the event of inclement weather, it will be moved to Grace Lutheran Church, Mechanic Street.

The event is in response to an invitation from the National Day of Prayer Task Force. The Task Force is a non-profit organization based in Colorado Springs, CO. There are more than 40,000 prayer gatherings taking place from coast to coast at a variety of venues and locations during the noon hour in each of our countries time zones. This is the 3rd year that the Bradford Ministerium has had this ecumenical gathering. For more information visit www.nationaldayofprayer.org

The event is sponsored by the Bradford Ministerium and Destinations-Bradford.
