PSP: Gun in Brockport Shootings was Stolen

The gun a Brockway man used to kill himself after shooting a bartender in Brockport last night had been stolen earlier in the day.

State police say the gun used by 31-year-old Eric Carlson had been stolen from the vehicle of a 57-year-old man while it was parked at the Brockport Army & Navy Club.

Police say Carlson shot a 20-year-old woman from Brockport after they argued about her closing the bar at just before midnight. As she lay injured on the porch near the door, Carlson shot himself.

The woman was flown to UPMC Altoona for treatment. Police did not release her name or give an update on her condition.

They are continuing their investigation.
