Accused Trespasser Sent to Jail

A man accused of trespassing in an apartment house is now housed in McKean County Jail.

Police say they saw someone in the High Rise parking lot early Saturday morning who looked as if he may be hiding, and soon that person ran away, according to court papers. As police were looking for him on foot on Chautauqua Place they heard a man yell to someone else to get out of his home. Police soon learned 28-year-old Adam Quigley was the trespasser, was drunk and had tried get into another apartment in the building.

Quigley is charged with criminal trespass, flight to avoid apprehension, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
