National Fuel Expects Decrease

Natural gas prices may be going down again.

National Fuel has told the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission they expect a decrease in gas supply charges this year, meaning they would lower their rates by about 2 percent starting in August.

The bill for a typical residential customer would decrease from $73 to $71 a month.

This is just a forecast for the winter of 2015-16, and must be reviewed and approved by the PUC before becoming effective. It could also be adjusted to reflect current market prices.
