Ripley Meth Lab Dismantled

A traffic stop led to the discovery of a meth lab in Ripley, New York.

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force says 48-year-old John Rowicki III was stopped on Route 20 Friday night, and was subsequently arrested for selling meth to a task force agent.

The investigation revealed a meth lab at Rowicki’s home. A HazMat team was called to the scene to dismantle the lab and secure all the toxic ingredients.

Besides the drug charges, Rowicki is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

He’s in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
